We are transforming the sports performance analytics experience end-to-end, building products that help NFL & NCAA front offices, coaching staff, media partners, and digital subscribers evaluate player performance at an unmatched level of detail.

Who You Are:

You are a Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for modern web application architecture and frameworks
You have over 5 years of professional, production-level development experience
You have experience with high-level programming languages, including but not limited to Ruby, Elixir, or Java.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
Experience with JavaScript and related frameworks like ReactJS is a plus

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with the business stakeholders to gather requirements from ideas and concepts to design and build well-engineered software.
Effectively write API’s and test software to ensure both responsiveness and efficiency
Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
Mentor and support Engineering colleagues

Qualifications:

5+ Years of Professional Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent work experience
Familiarity and comfort level with source control software such as Git
Solid understanding of relational databases; Postgres experience is a plus
Experience using/configuring Linux, command line, and related tools
Strong written + verbal communication skills (English)

Salary range: $150,000-$200,000
